After completing my studies in civil engineering, I joined Gouda Vuurvast Services in 2012 in the work preparation department.
During my first few years here, I had the opportunity to gain and develop my knowledge of furnaces and refractories. I was also given the opportunity over the years to grow within the organisation and become a project manager. A job that never bores me!

I joined Gouda Vuurvast Services in 2020 started as a work planner and have since become Head of the Operations Office. As Head of the Operations Office, I am responsible for internal services, work preparation, preparing quotes and procurement processes. The warm team spirit, where we work together like a well-oiled machine to achieve our goals, is what makes working at Gouda Vuurvast Services so special.

In 2003, I started at Gouda Vuurvast as a trainee furnace builder, just “temporarily” helping out my father his regular colleague was off sick.
More than 20 years later, I still enjoy my job - now as Jr. Project Manager - and have been able to take advantage of various training courses along the way. No two days are the same and you get to go all over the place.
